Our Story

Horses and coffee have taken me far in life. Farther than expected for someone who doesn't make their living 100% in the saddle or behind a roasters counter. My name is Kayla Mann, and Wild Horse Espresso is the lovechild of my PNW coffee snobbery and the horse girl in me. Raised in the shadow of Mt.Rainier, I fell in love with the bean that rules the waking world from an early age. My next love came in the form of a wild horse at 16. Chief has carried me through the lowest, highest, deepest, and steepest parts of the western US as well as my life. I owe a lot to that horse, I figured starting a business dedicated to him was a start on my repayment plan. You don't know good company until you've been in that of a mustang. Throughout my working years, I've been blessed with jobs that cover me in either coffee grinds or horse hair. One particular horse hair job floated me through Montana and I jumped ship to stay in the Last Best Place. Marry in even! Over the last decade I've been able to enjoy this state for all she's worth. And now, I'm blessed with the opportunity to share with Montana my loves and passion. Good coffee, good company, and good horses.

OUR MISSION

Good coffee and company is what we specialize in here at Wild Horse Espresso, but we have so much more to give. While good coffee is always the goal, our mission is share our passion for the outdoors. Whether you're a hiker, hunter, rancher, rider, packer, or just love fresh air, we get it. And we are dedicated to making sure future generations get it too. Wild Horse Espresso is proud to work within our community and with different organizations to promote preserving public lands and Western heritage. We believe all good things are worth being a little brassy over and that there's nothing you can't accomplish with a good cup of coffee.
